Genesis Quality Systems began providing services to the steel industry in 2003. Our first project was to develop a quality management system to NQA-1 requirements for a fabricator within 3 months. We have completed the project on time and the fabricator won a nuclear project that is still going…! GQS customized project quality management services for many projects including the Miami International Airport project.

Genesis has earned the reputation, expertise, knowledge, and competence by working closely with well respected leaders in the industry. We expanded our clientele every year and added more services to benefit the construction industry. Leadership:

AISC – Chairperson for qualification standards committee and assisted in developing the first standard for fabricator certification.
Currently serving as a member of AISC Code of Standard Practice for buildings and bridges. AISC code of standard practice provides steel fabricators and erectors valuable information for steel fabrication and erection processes and tolerances.

AWS – Chairman for AWS D1.1 fabrication committee. Member of AWS D1.1 structural welding code, AWS D1.1 qualification committee and AWS D1.5 bridge welding code. The committee deals with public inquiries and code revisions in an ongoing basis.

AWS- Member of PFQC committee assisting to develop qualification standards for welding inspectors, welding educators, welding fabricators, welding engineers, welding supervisors, welding sales representatives, and much more.
